New reading material: HTML5 for Web Designers.
Just got the new (first?) book from A List Apart. Now I need to find the time to read it.

I felt a need to share the web tools I think are awesome, but since my blog is down until the release of WordPress 3.0, I wanted to post them here.
These tools are huge time savers for web designers and I use them almost everyday. These are the ones I used just today.
My favorite new tool to use is great for finding color variations. Paste in a hex code and get dozens of variations from light to dark. Awesome. Great for hover colors.
From a web designer named Michael Bester at kimili.com, this is one of my favorite new tools. If you have started using RGBa colors for transparency in your designs, this will convert it to the unnecessarily complex CSS that IE understands. Check it out.
From Dynamic Drive, this is a dead simple way to create a favicon for your website. Just upload a .png and there you go. Will do 16x16, 32x32, and 48x48 icons, and supports transparency.
I'm sure it goes without saying I use Firebug religiously, and I'm anxiously awaiting a full version for Chrome.
Let me know what web-based design/code tools you love and couldn't live without.
Apparently there was an online "graduation ceremony".
I guess this is the equivalent of taking a picture.
